In college I learned that most people polled would rather be robbed or shot, than speak in front of a group of people.
So I guess that puts me in the minority. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it still makes my palms sweat just a little bit but the idea of educating AND entertaining people is my idea of a good time.
I have been blessed in my time in the beauty industry to not only learn from my time as a platform artist, stylist, salon owner and working in manufacturing, but also be able to RELAY the information about what I have learned in order to motivate, inspire and uplift.
I have given motivational speeches, taught classes, and emceed hair shows, putting my communications degree to good use (which makes my Mom relieved, lol). Presenting with humor helps my audiences retain the information and stay interested.
